intrinsic Learning Lab
Digitisation is transforming professional life, and a linear career is no longer the only way forward. The intrinsic Learning Lab sees this as a great opportunity: with the support of the Migros Pioneer Fund, the project is creating a model that demonstrates the potential of open development in personal learning.
The project provides its participants with the tools and procedures they need to organise their own learning that will accompany them throughout their lives. This creates alternative career development paths across traditional industries and structures. Everyone can benefit from this structural freedom and contribute their expertise to society.
In terms of methodology, the intrinsic Learning Lab provides guidance in three steps. The initial orientation phase serves to define what is to be achieved. In the next step, the learning path – supported by coaches and accompanied by an electronic portfolio – is pursued and constantly reflected upon. Dialogue with other participants also helps in this process. Later, the lessons learned are embedded within another context: the participants present the knowledge they have acquired – and are able to identify their skills.
